| Quiet and clean?

It is very loud and noisy - the Highway is very near! All the trucks at night... Washrooms are not so clean - everything looks a little "old " But the site is great!

BIG campground with pull-thrus that can even handle caravans. Nice meeting room seats/feeds 60, but lacks A/C. Gravel spaces, mostly reasonably level. Water pressure was low. Has a nice pool and a store. Staff will lead you to your space.

| Big park with secluded areas

Aug 2017 Over 200 sites, some nicely secluded, some shade gravel/dirt sites. good internal roads Close to Halifax. Toilets/showers could use an upgrade. Wifi non existent when park full - otherwise ok.

| Bad sites and customer service

A nice location for visiting the Halifax area. The park has a lot of mature trees between and around the sites. The sites are gravel, narrow and very uneven. We had a lot of problems finding a spot flat enough to level even using our blocks. The park has a nice pool, decent bathrooms and showers and a game room. The customer service at the front desk was poor and the wifi did not work well enough to check email. We would recommend looking at other parks in the area.

| Close to Halifax city center

This campground caters to multi unit caravans. Sites are small wooded not well maintained. Wifi sucks. Washrooms suck too. The owners are not very people friendly. The only good thing about this campground and the reason it is still around is because of its location. It is only about 25 minutes to downtown Halifax. Not far from other must see places as well. If you are coming to Halifax as a tourist and want a place to stay it would be good. But if you intend to just go camping and want to stay at the campgrounds most of the time, there are other nicer places a few miles away.

The owners (Bernie & Terry Ann - not sure of spelling) are super polite, helpful and very hard working. Maneuvering for a big rig is not bad. Sites are pretty large and most are separated from each other with trees. Mostly all gravel. Some sites are hard to level and will need pads for the tires and the jacks. There has been A LOT OF RAIN so the campground can be quite muddy. They have a nice Rec Hall for groups. The WiFi is probably the best that we have seen at any campground. I did several speed checks and during non-peak hours, it was showing 30 to 50 MBS. That is high speed. During peak hours, it would get into the single digits. The campground is relatively close to Halifax. We stayed a week and saw a lot of sites since we are willing to drive an hour in each direction. If I am back in this area, I will stay here again...

Spent a week here. Staff was very helpful. Had large pull through site. WiFi is pretty poor at best. Water pressure varies between barely adequate to nonexistent during morning hours. Make sure your tank is topped up and pump is working. Have large recreation room which was nice to use. Relatively close to Halifax so good spot to explore from. With a few improvements, it would be a winner.

We had a beautiful site in the trees with ample room. Bathrooms were clean, but need some work. Check-in staff were a bit gruff.
