OK
By user-5894583... on 2017-10-23.
I do not see 5 stars in this park. The hookups are good. The sites are an acceptable size. There is a patch of grass between most of them. But I do not see anything here that falls into the exceptional category. The restrooms are clean and large, with private showers. I would give them 4 stars. The roads and sites are all gravel. You hear I-75 traffic. You hear trains. There are almost no trees for shade. Yes, the staff was friendly and helpful. While I found the park to be acceptable, I would not consider it a destination park. It is good if you need a place to stopover in the area. I am not saying to avoid the park, just that I do not see the exceptional park that a 5 star review would indicate. Just look at the pictures and set your expectations accordingly.

Great
By user-5137804... on 2017-10-23.
Fabulous camp hosts/owners. Took us to our site on golf cart, went over amenities and asked if we had any questions about the area, etc. they could help with. I lived that when we left it had signs to the internet and reminded me that I should've put my antenna down.

Beautiful
By user-4775594... on 2017-10-23.
This is a beautiful place. Set amongst the rolling hills of Kentucky. Nice level gravel sites. There is a rather, narrow country road to get to the campground but it is doable in a big rig if no one else is on the road. We camped in a 34 foot motor home with a tow. The bathrooms are very clean, and the grounds are manicured. There are no trees for shade but that's why AC and awnings are available on most units. It's an easy drive to the Ark, and the town of Georgetown was a great place for a simple lunch at Fava's Cafe.

This is the best park if you are visiting the Ark Encounter. It is about 25 miles away of easy highway driving. Park is beautiful. Well kept with friendly staff and great showers. Highly recommend. I think we paid about $36/night

Excellent campground
By user-5460085... on 2017-10-23.
The ladies staffing the front desk were very helpful finding us the right site. Many pull throughs, all gravel and fairly level but some were not. It is an excellent place to visit if you are doing the Bourbon Trail. In the past we stayed at KY Horse Park, but no sewers is a definite disadvantage for us. One last thing, the 1.5 mile road leading to the campground is EXTREMELY narrow for a large RV.

Very organized. Great place. The grandkids loved the pool and slide. Restrooms clean and I love the unisex concept. Great for families.

Really beautiful park. Site are a little tight. Sewer drain for neighbor right near our steps. Lots of new gravel roads with gravel sites. Rained entire time we were there and sites had a few puddles on them. 50 amp service and no problem with our german shepherd there. only stayed one nite for $30 w/GS discount. Would stay there again. Really nice place. Staff very friendly and took us to site via golf cart.

Disappointed

Stayed 2017-05-15 to 2017-05-16
There is no escape from the sun - no shade trees and the position of our campsite rendered our awning useless. We moved the picnic table to the front of our RV for shade. This would have worked except for the gravel roads. Each time a vehicle drove by, we were immersed in dust. Their WiFi is unacceptably slow and it is not password protected. My PC was infected with malware from their WiFi. We were considering staying for 3 nights, but left after 2. I will not stay here again.

Nice brand new park only 3 years old. Close to I75. We had a full hook, lots were adequate, we stayed on nite. WE had good Sam an paid around $32-35. Great for passing through. Workkampers were friendly, helpful and great. No problems, plenty of room to manuver and we had no complaints. WIFI worked good.

Close to Interstate narrow approach street but not that long. New park not bad but I get turned off with presuming that unarmed people are safer assuming criminals follow this policy. That's enough to dissuade me from a return.

Nice park not far off interstate

Great Place

We stayed there for 4 nights. Nice level spots and great views. The staff is also great, very friendly and helpful. One word of caution, they have 76 LBS of water pressure so a pressure reducing valve is highly recommended.
|
It will be much easier to just list the bad things about the park. Not much space between the spots. Room enough, but a bit more would have been better. Only about 7 years old so the trees will need to get a bit higher for more shade. Yes, high water

Horrible
By user-5186156... on 2019-08-09.
This rv park or should I say permanent residence campground. There are more people living in this rv park than just guest. They put you at the bottom and when it rains it all comes down to your camp. It floods your campsite I understand you cant control the rain but they need to fix there drainage. The permanent residence drive around when people come in like there checking your stuff out. Didn't fill very safe . No room for nothing we tried put stuff out like as simple as chairs and you go into the next campsite. The guy behind us had his radio up so high you could here Spanish music in our camper. For hours we listened to this. He was a permanent resident. We paid for two nights and we left the next morning. Do not stay here.

Nice & Clean!
By user-5205701... on 2019-08-09.
Nice clean park with easyi access from I-75. Pilot Fuel is at this exit so convenient.
Bathrooms and showers were separate rooms with sink, toilet, and shower.
Pool was by entrance and was nice, slide for kids in pool. The pull thru sites don t have fire rings. Hey Gravel on roads made it dusty at times.
A lot of overnight guests come in daily. Also quite a few permanent residents
G were here.
