This was a great fine, we was traveling thru and needed a place to stay one night and keep the truck hooked to the camper and we found this unique State Park! It was awesome, clean, and quiet. It had lots of things to do, would of loved to had more time to stay there. Very nice people that checked us in and very helpful! A great place to get away from all the technology! Put those phones down and enjoy your family in this awesome place! Loved it!!

We stayed there for 3 nights in spot #53. It has lots of shade and was perfect for keeping the sun off our trailer. We enjoyed the Big Ben Nature Hike, which was really short and also the Military Loop Hikes that was just over 2 miles. We ended up going the wrong way and made it a 4 mile hike. As pretty as the park was the only downfall was the mosquitos! They are every where, so bring plenty of bug spray. I would have given it a 5 if it wasn't for the bugs.

| Nice state park

Two separate rate camping areas. Newer area has concrete pads with full hookups great for big rigs. Original area great for smaller trailers and tents. Typical state park with hiking trails, lots of open areas, and swimming.
