This is a great place to stay and enjoy NW NM. Spaces are back to back so all roads are two way. Very nice gravel spaces are long and flat enough room for the truck, travel trailer, and the jeep. Store has typical supplies, prices are very resonable. This is a prefered stop for me, fuel is 10 cents cheaper than the major cities.

Military friendly, clean. Good BBQ in the evenings. We'll be back.
By user-5784250... on 2017-10-23.
Sites are fine...nothing great. The real story is the rest of the grounds. Pool, store, bathrooms, etc. were beautiful. Owner pretty slow to check people in. Only real concern was that the electric box showed an open ground and he moved us...but later another unit was there and I warned the driver, who said he wasn't told about it.
By user-5275379... on 2017-10-23.
The owner greets guests at registration. Patrick put me under the best shade tree in the park! Pool is warm and refreshing. Pet friendly. Quiet. I read a review complaining about "no landscaping". I suppose that is not as important to me as reasonable rates, respect to our active duty Military Personnel (stay FREE), and the fact that the entire staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend this park...

This was our first night on the road from Phoenix. We read a couple reviews that were bad, however our experience was was very good. Staff was very friendly and had a great place to run the dogs just outside the west wall! We even ate there. They have a BBQ and it had ribs, pulled pork and brisket. Not bad. The bad reviews complained about the trains and planes. Maybe they were in tents, because they weren't bad at all. Trains follow I-40 a lot of the way, so most camp grounds will have some train noise. Great spot for our first night!

Very disappointed. No landscaping on the sites other than a patio area. We faced our neighbors and they had 2 sets of steps from their unit. One to their patio and one to ours! We can't even put our awning out if they have theirs out. The park is very crowded. No bbq as it is Sunday. Pool was closed also.

By user-6274033... on 2017-10-23.
Everything is good here but there campsites are very close together, with yours and neighbors slides out there is only 2'-3' between you which kills all of your view. Better points sites are long and park is very well cared for. Office personal are very friendly.

Very clean and well laid out park. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. An unexpected treat was the BBQ dinner offered for $5: a fantastic pulled pork sandwich and chips. The park was quite full, but quiet and friendly.

This was a great place to stop after driving from Phoenix. Our site was fine, close to the neighbor and no shade but for an overnight it was perfect. They had bbq dinners available which were good and had a reasonable price. Since we were driving a new to us coach that we had just picked up we didn't have a cable to use to hook up to their cable. They generously offered us a cable to use for our overnight stay. The staff was friendly and helpful.
By user-6054764... on 2017-10-23.
We had a tire blowout near this park and had to find a place quickly. Weren't we luckily. Nice, clean, and quiet. Their BBQ dinner looked and smelled delicious, but we had already prepared dinner. Maybe next time! I would stay here again.

Very friendly staff (owners kids, grandchildren). Pool clean and warm. Ice cream served nightly, big scoops $1 each. All sites are side by side, fairly close together, but two of us were traveling so worked out great. Love that military stay free, American flag painted on bottom of pool. Facilities clean. Will go back next time in area.

We have stayed here a few times when traveling on I-40. Easy on and off the highway, level sites but little to no shade. Park is clean, nice pool and power/ water is good. Nice place to walk the dog on trail next to park. Staff is helpful .

Very nice park. We used it as an overnite stop. Has a large clean pool. Enjoyed a nightly ice cream social hosted by the park for only $1 a scoop. I got two and should have only got one, very good and got to talk with fellow RV's. very well priced and would stay here again when in the area.

Excellent campground, large lots and updated utilities. Paved roads with gravel sites. Busy park but, sites were not crowded. Friendly staff(owner operated) and kept up facilities. We used are own shower/bath. Laundry room was nice. Close by to shopping and fuel prices were lower, as previously said. Easy in and out, right off old Historic Rt 66. We paid $32 plus $2 for cable (worked good and 60 channels). WIFI was weak though, we ended up using our hot spots. No recycle bins. Trash cans were well placed throughout camp. We would recommend park and return in the future.

This is a very nice park; we met John and his son... both very welcoming, friendly and a joy to speak with during check in. They really put a ton of effort into the care and maintenance of their park. Our site was dead on level, power was clean and the facilities were spotless! We did not get to try the BBQ as it is closed on Sunday as well as no ice cream social; but that is the way it goes on the road sometimes...lol We certainly enjoyed our stay and have no issues staying again.
By user-5897423... on 2017-10-23.
We came in late and had to use a back in no sewer site. No problem, was really nice. This place is so clean. Trash cans very easy to find. Friendly owners and staff. Clean pool area too. We have paid $70 at "resorts" that aren't as nice as this RV park is. Will definitely stop here again when we come though again. May stay more than one night next time!!! Definitely try them out!!

By user-5515940... on 2017-10-23.
This was a nice stop. Plenty of room to maneuver your rig, mostly level sites and nice and long. The bbq cafe and ice cream were done for season. Very disappointing as we drove further to take advantage of not having to worry about dinner. The store was really good as was the staff. One thing l do not understand is when you say you have no pets and there are MANY sites available why they put us in the corner by the pet park. Those sites should be for pet owners.

I don't write reviews often, but this facility is noteworthy; as a retired Marine, I can see an establishment that pays attention to detail, and is making every effort to be the best they can be, with the assets available to them. Well done USA RV, we will use you again when passing thru. KPF Foley,Al PS- They are pro-military, no taking a knee from these folks.

There’s no denying that this is a patriotic park, something we appreciate as retired military. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They had lots of pull thru sites, cable, and packed gravel. The water supply was insulated- therefore no need to disconnect in freezing temps (provided you had an insulated hose). They had a pool that was closed obviously. I joked that was too bad because I wanted to do the polar plunge. The guy at the desk joked back that he could make it happen if I really wanted to... lol! The only negative was that they had very limited grocery and RV supplies, but they had a vast collection of souvenirs! It was also very convenient to I-40. This was by far the best RV Park we encountered during our last 7 days of travel (and staying somewhere different each of those nights). We will definitely stay here again when passing thru the area!

We stopped over for a days rest and a 2 night sleepover. Staff is great and the park is level and clean throughout. Showers and laundry areas are the cleanest we’ve experienced. Love the family operation and they solved our TV problem with our “booster”. Just down right friendly people at a fair price for our adventure west.

We arrived early in Gallup trying to beat the afternoon winds. We checked in and went to check out several of the Trading Posts in town. When we returned our power was out. This applied to the whole area of at least a square mile. The front desk said they expected the power to be back on shortly. Subsequently we found out that a vehicle had taken out two power poles and the lines attached. We went on to our battery power and did fine (it was forecast that temperatures would get down to 18 degrees that night). When we awoke in the morning we still had no power but it came on at 8 a.m. The park was very good in spite of this inconvenience. Our dogs loved the dog run. When we went to checkout, we were charged only a tent site rate ($20) because we had no power. That was not expected.

Trains, planes and automobiles. Motorcycles, helicopters, diesel trucks. If you're looking for a nice quiet place, this ain't it. That said, everything is well kept. The showers and bathrooms are clean and large. Dog run is more than a postage stamp. Pool is okay but not tended to every day, apparently. The RV sites are large but kind of close together. All in all it was an okay experience. Not bad, Not great.

Well, we arrived back here yesterday and oh what a difference personal mood make in when writing a review. I'm much happier with this beautifully kept park than I was at our first night here. Plus the traffic/train/plane sounds, though numerous, didn't bother me as much. The pool was sparkling clean but I didn't get a swim in this time. This is a nice place to hang for a night on the way to somewhere else.
By user-6231334... on 2018-07-06.
This family run park went out of their way for us! We arrived late in the day and they had 2 spots left. They made it easy for us and directed us to a pull through spot. The grounds are well kept, include level spots, play ground for kids, dog area, a family prepares dinner complete with BBQ and apple cobbler. We slept well and hit the road quick and easy thanks to the friendliest people we’ve met yet!

Big gravel parking lot with 130 spaces (most pull through with full hookups). We had no problem, called the AM of the day we wanted to stay. Very friendly staff, easy in and out. Comfortable, clean, laundry and bathrooms, pool, every evening barbeque. We had a quiet, peaceful night. They will do 10% discount for almost club membership - just ask. No over the air TV here, they do have cable TV for $2/day.

They offer a bbq dinner in the park which was nice not having to cook or go anywhere to eat after driving...we had the ribs which were ok. Clean, friendly, SPOTLESS dog park. Cons: Thursday nite stay = constant train noise ALL NITE LONG. And the conductors made sure to BLAST HORNS while passing through. Between airplane noise (nearby airport) and trains, we hardly slept.
By user-5850391... on 2019-08-09.
Caution: DO NOT TURN RIGHT ONTO TWIN BUTTES, if directed by GPS! You will take a HUGE DETOUR. Go right onto Hwy 66 And CONTINUE STRAIGHT for several blocks. RV Park on right side (when heading east on I-40).

Nice well kept up park. Someone was in our assigned spot so they had us stay in the spot we parked in. Nice dog park for the desert, gravel with no grass. It was near an airport and train tracks so we woke up several times during the night. The WiFi did not work, I never could sign in to use it. We stayed in a motor home with a tow.

Pro - Not far from I-40, close to shopping, fuel, restaurants. Park is easy to maneuver in, we stayed in the new part with plenty of room for the RV & Tow to pull in. Sites are all gravel with a picnic table. The laundry is clean and reasonable. The shower/bathrooms are clean and nice. To cold to use the pool, but it looked nice. Small store in the office area that sells some food and other things. Deltas - Most pull-thru sites are opposing each other, so it makes you very close to your neighbor. The new section sites are very close also. Wi-fi was terrible and did not work, no cable tv. The park is located at the end of the town airport, so planes are coming in/going just over your head at all hours. Did hear a train at night in the distance, but not to loud. People were just walking their dogs on the park roads. They do sell propane, but no one there that could fill my tank. Good place for one or two nights. Price was right!

Gallup is a good stop for an overnight when traveling through the area. The park is conveniently located right off I-40 with easy access on and off. The sites are gravel and pull through with plenty of room for a tow vehicle for even big rigs. There are very few trees so satellite reception was accessible. The wifi is advertised, but I could not even check email when connected. The park is located right next to an airport and very close to the rail line. You will have some noise at night. The park has very clean laundry and restrooms. Given the price and the ease of getting in and out of their sites, we rate this park a 4 out of 5 stars and will use it again for overnight stops.

We were on the very back row in #110. They are pull throughs and faced an empty field. The site was gravel (loose), plenty of space between rigs, and the utilities were placed very well. The other rows are pull throughs, but the bad thing is they are set up for social side to social side - utility side to utility side. We parked like that one time in North Dakota with a stranger and didn't like it at all. We were very glad to go to the back row where the sites are not set up like that. There is an electrical station in the back row that had an alarm that went off once in a while. Very annoying beep, beep, beep. I just called the office and they came out and turned it off. They really need to fix that. The staff/owners are very USA vet/military friendly. They appreciate those that have served. Wifi was okay except during real busy times like around 7:00 pm. Verizon cell signal was good. All in all, we would stay there again.

Stopped here on our way back East. Checking in was easy and quick. Propane fill as you enter the campground. Sites are large gravel, but level. Nice bath house, and showers are fair. Shower heads should be replaced, bad spraying. Not much room to move around in the shower, but they were clean overall. Close to I-40. Walmart and Golden Coral in town, which was the cleanest and best organized we've ever been in. Informed the Manager on duty, but she didn't seem to be very receptive to the At-A-Girl compliments.

Nice park, clean and kept up. Sites are good size and pull thru. Park has BBQ dinner available with ribs, chicken, or brisket or pork sandwiches with sides. Very tasty. Not sure if they offer every night, but they did on Friday. Hosts are very pleasant. We were given site 86 but someone was in it so we pulled into 88 and they were fine with that. Pool looked enticing, and water was warm.

This is a great RV park with super staff! All sorted are level, wide, graveled pull thru, with easy hook ups. Everything was clean as could be, from the laundry to the bath houses. Quiet for the most part, only hear a couple planes a few times. Reasonable laundry prices and all machines in working order! Playground was very nice with AstroTurf. Pool very nice and clean. There's a restaurant on site, we had great BBQ ribs and chicken, and homemade apple crisp with ice cream... It was on point! And my fave... The gift shop... My husband had to pull me out of there! I found better quality jewelry and souvenirs than anywhere on the road! Oh and the beautiful tribute to the military! This Vet thanks you for that! We were on the road unexpectedly without reservations and they were so kind to call ME back when my phone cut out trying to call them for a site. We were road weary and very tired from a day of site seeing and driving. To have super ready and get laundry done and get a good night's rest so we could get back on the road, was such a blessing! But it was all so nice we kinda hated to leave!!

Kids were so excited to go to the pool, poorly maintained full of flies bugs and leaves; infestation would be an understatement. Spent an hour myself cleaning it with their equipment and it still had hundreds of bugs in it. I finally told everyone we wouldn t go to the pool. Besides my pool rant this was a great facility, good prices; not monthly friendly however, they state their monthly prices but they don t let you book it and give excuses about not making enough money. Great prices, VERY friendly staff, great bathrooms, great showers, great laundry. Would stay again possibly.

Easy pull through, pea gravel sites. Very clean and well maintained park. The Cowboy Cookout was a nice addition. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained.

Enjoyed this park, good on-site food, liked the patriotic theme, spaces and amenities adequate, staff helpful and friendly, needed a plumber which was arranged quickly. would not hesitate to stay there again.
