Very nice !! Several local restuarants to choose from too
By user-5886825... on 2017-10-23.
Called on a Friday and was told there were 40 open spots and to come on over. We showed up at 4:30pm and plenty of spots to choose from. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Said go find a spot and come back in the morning and check in. Said there were a couple of Lake spots opening in the morning, so we picked a spot next to them and just moved over when they left the next morning. With the "No Alcohol" rule, it keeps out the hard core partyer's lol
So we had our cocktails by the campfire and really enjoyed our stay.
Clean bathrooms and plenty of room to relax.

Run down park

Run down bathrooms. I tried several of the bathrooms and they were all in bad shape. 2/3 of the spaces are rented out for seasonal. The over night spots are ok. Ok park for over night. They are putting in some new overnight spots. Feb 12, 2017

Monthly take over
By user-6047226... on 2017-10-23.
Used to you could find a spot anywhere prime locations have been taken over by monthly people, and the only spots you can get is either by the street which is less money or by the water which runs quite a bit more. the prices used to be $22 for disabled has gone up to $28. 00. Timberlake is clean my wife and I really enjoyed it being by the water was a little pricey met a bunch of wonderful people. be prepared to bring your own ice as they do not so ice at this facility, but you are real close to Kroger and to a gas station. only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because all the prime spots have been taken over by monthly guests I had talked to several people that have been there over 2 years and if you're by the water you have to move every 14 days.

Very clean well taken care of park. According to the parks website they have roughly 290 rv sites and the night we stayed there were only about 8 empty spots. Seemed like most all the spots were occupied by monthly or yearly rvers

ANTS!!
By user-5864667... on 2018-03-14.
The sites in the new area are nice and wide, fairly level and concrete pads. However, there are tiny ants everywhere!! Evidently the office manager knows about it, but didn’t mention it at time of booking or check-in. Also, the WiFi does not work! When I mentioned it to the office manager, she indicated that she knew - but again no notice at time of booking or check-in!

We're staying there right now. We were cruising down the Natchez Trace Parkway, and decided to stay here even though we hadn't checked the reviews. It's all asphalt paved with concrete site slabs. and is very pleasant. We're right on the water for $30 per night full hookups It would have been $25 for off the water. Management is very friendly. Many restaurants and Walmart, Lowe's, Kroger, pretty much everything close by. We would definitely camp her again.

Nice Spot

We stayed one night. Came in after office hours and picked a site in the new area by the main road. The site wasn’t shown in the rate sheet so we dropped the premium $30 rate in the drop box. Site was level and bathrooms are clean. Major grocery and restaurants across the street. We would stay again.

Nice close to home weekend getaway

This is a nice close to home weekend getaway or pit stop location. They have a playground and pool, as well as easy access to a boat ramp and shops around the park. The spots are close together, so it can be hard to meneuver between spots for larger rigs. There are some broken/uneven slabs. Overall, good close to home place to stay.

Stayed May 2019 for 2 weeks. Sites are concrete pads, mostly level, roads blacktop, most sites nestled in tall pine trees. Most sites back-in, large park, reasonable priced, but no Wi-Fi during my 2 weeks. Central to restaurants, Kroger grocery, Walmart about 5 miles, library close, lake. One of the best parks I have recently stayed-would easily stay again.
