| Beautiful setting

By user-6133535... on 2017-10-23.

We love staying here when the weather is cool. In hot weather without hookup, it's just not fesible unless you really like heat. Even though we're self contained with a generator, the limited time to run it stops us from staying when it's in the 80s at night.

| Great campground

Clean, well kept campground. Some of the spaces cannot be reserved so there is a good chance you can drive in and get a spot if not too late in the afternoon. Lots of shade trees. There is both a pump out and water at the campground entrance. Nice restrooms. Park rangers give talks Fri-Sun evenings. Very interesting. Gorgeous park. Lots of great trails. We'll be back.

| Good experience

We stayed here one night in a 27 ft trailer- it was very warm during the day but chilly at night (in the 40 s) as it was September. Park is quite - some sites longer than others. Primitive camping very dark at night sky was beautiful. About an hour from the interstate.
