GPS does not get you to this campground using this address. Call the campground for directions.$30 per night for water, electricity, sewer. No cable, but ample over the air channels. About 3 miles from the Truman Library.

One of the nicest places we've stayed in. Water, 50 amp, sewer, WiFi, concrete pad, for less than $30/night with Good Sam card.

Great location: friendly staff, clean but older facilities. Next to busy train tracks.

Nice campground but sites were fairly close together. Concrete pads so was nice and level, Quiet except for occasional train since tracks were very close by. Really nice neighborhood with lots of President Truman things minutes away. Rate was very reasonable

We stayed here in a motorhome in a back-in site. $28.87 per night. All hook-ups worked well. Good level cement pad. We stayed here to visit the Truman Library, Museum and National Historic Landmark. A wonderful experience. If your looking for a great place to eat try Little BBQ and the burnt ends. We would stay here again if we come through Kansas City.

A bit of travel through the city off of the interstate, but nice place and very reasonably priced. There are a few pull through sites which it seems that they try to hold for short stay people. Other sites are more spacious and have shade. Full hookups. Electric power was plentiful even with everyone running their A/C.

This RV Park was nice enough, but the train tracks are very near and the trains go by blowing their horns very frequently throughout the night. It was hard to get any sleep here.

Great location for historical streets and the truman library. Older with established trees. Clean laundry and bathrooms. Only 30 spots so call ahead, fills quickly.

Nice RV park in town, about 3 dozen sites, all level with full hook-ups. Call campground for GPS address. Each site has level paved pad, with plenty of room to maneuver even bigger rigs. Pleasant staff. The park is close to Truman's House, Truman Library, Bingham Waggoner Estate, National Frontier Trails Museum and Children's Peace Pavilion. Easy access to Kansas City to see Federal Reserve and Harley Davidson Factory tour. Agree with other posts, eat in or take out for yummy sandwiches or dinner from Little BBQ Joint. (Everything looked great but I'd highly recommend the brisket.) This local restaurant is a short distance from campground and the prices are very reasonable. The train track is close to the campground, you can hear the train whistle. It might bother some but I enjoyed it. You could always use some white noise (fan, radio, ac) to cover it up.

Pulled in off interstate one night into a pull thru. Only 4 stars because with slide out little closer to your neighbors than I like. Newer asphalt streets, modern lighting, and level pads. Would stay here again

Park manager on site. Kind and accommodating. Mostly back in sights. Showers clean and functional though could use updating. Electricity worked well on a very hot night. Central to city. Close to sights. A functional place to overnight.

Nice spot once you get here. It feels a little daunting winding thru hills, over RR tracks and industrial area. I was glad I arrived during the daylight. being near the historical area of Independence has been nice. Park is generally quiet other than train whistles in the near distance but does not keep me up at night and I rather enjoy it. Lots of other motorhomes and what looks like old time RV folks.

This little park is set in Independance, MO right next door to the National Frontier Trail Museum & Visitors Center. It's a in a quiet neighborhood, but is near a set of busy railroad tracks. The Community of Christ (a sect of the Mormon Church) has an amazing temple nearby as well, picture attached. This is a wonderful place from which to see much of the Harry S. Truman history, and to explore the wonders of Kansas City.....Missouri AND Kansas. And, if you happen to be here on the first Friday of any month, do not miss First Friday celebrations in downtown KC, Missouri! Great food trucks, restaurants, art galleries and MUSIC! We had a concrete site that was level and full service hookups. The wifi was weak, but passable for simple tasks, and the ota tv reception was GREAT! The office staff were accommodating and very pleasant.

First time rv owner and first time out. Nice facility and friendly and helpful staff! Will be staying again!

Bathroom had feces on both toilets, showers were outdated with no water pressure.I told office about the toilets being dirty, she said someone would take care of it,the next day the toilets were still nasty. It is more of a parking lot with a few trees instead of a campground.

Small rv park with nice concrete pads. Located very near to Harry Truman sites. Streets in the area are narrow. The dump station is great for our Class B. Bathrooms are spacious, but need more attention. We have stayed here 3 times because of location, but bathrooms consistently are not as clean as they should be. The outside area is well- maintained.

Lots of neatly kept green grass lawn. Quiet, pastoral but for occasional distant train. Large paved lots, nearly level. Nicely situated and maintained hookups. Only drawback was the awkward entrance. Very sharp turn with a dip. We missed and had to go around and come in the other direction. We would return when in this area.

Very nice, clean rv park with friendly staff. Small but enough space between sites; mostly quiet except for a train passing thru but that was fine! Each to find in middle of Independence, MO.
