Best scenic park, yet

This is the best looking park we have stayed in since leaving Columbus, Oh. Having a lake as our view out of our trailer window, made our overnight stop here that much more enjoyable. Wife and I enjoyed meeting the camp hostess, who even gave us some fresh rhubarb. Would gladly stay here again, if our travels bring us to this area.

Nice but noisy.

Spots are grassy, with nice views of the lake. Fairly expensive for what you get, or don't get. No cable or wifi and all visitors pay $5. No exceptions. But the worst are the trains. Constant trains with a crossing close by. Could hardly sleep. The owner was very friendly and I feel bad that the train traffic will probably keep me from going back.

Nice park off the lake. Was a bad time for our visit due to all the lake Flys coming out early May. Pull thru spots are a little tight. Park very clean. Was charged more than what is advertised on RV Parky

Loved it! Simple, shady, excellent fishing and not crowded. Owner is sweet and relaxed. Read all the reviews about the train, yes, trains run on the track way across the lake. Get over it! You gotta know if tracks are nearby a train will roll by but no big town here so they roll but don't toot. Saw folks catch big beautiful fish. Shower is .75 for 5 minutes which is plenty of time. Saw reviews of old dirty bathroom and showers but it's old dirt and there were spider webs but we're camping. Again, get over it. The sites in the grass with ample space, lots of shade and hook ups, if you please, are perfect.

Noisy because of trains.

Trains right across the river woke us up several times all night. Site are poorly defined and leveling was a challenge. Had to pay extra for poor wi-fi. Nice view, but that's it.

Wonderful little resort.

Although we stayed only one night, it was lovely. All the sites are grassy and it was very clean. We had full hookups with a view of the lake. We would love to come back and stay a little longer and do some fishing. The neighborhood accessing the resort is a little rundown and we did wonder for a bit. The trains did not bother us. No tv reception unless you have your own dish. The owner was extremely nice and very helpful.

Poor and crappy

I don't know who wrote the review but non of this is true except for the spot. Very deceiving. Expensive for the quality of sanitary. Everything is old and not good maintenance.. No WiFi. No laundry and the poor shower is not free. Never come back again.

Alone At Last

Stayed one night (May 19, 2018), only occupant with choice of grassy spot overlooking water. Train not bad at all. Little disappointed that there was no laundromat aw noted in RV Parky, but would stay again if in area.

Peaceful and quiet

This is a beautiful hideaway!!! It is tucked away a couple of miles from a little town, but this is the place to be if you are looking for peace and quiet. Our site was perfect -- overlooking the lake, with full hookups. (Yes, we had sewer too!! ) The place has a lot of grass but, even with the rain, our camp site remained firm. The camp hostess is very helpful and friendly and keeps the place super clean. We will definitely choose this campground again when we are in this area.

Full hookups right by the water. Amazing views and even better fishing! We stayed for one night only, several people caught 5-6 pounds fish (bass). One of the places we will definetely come back for!
