Great facility run by the City of Greenville. Sites are paved and pads are concrete. Very friendly and accomodating staff members. Unfortunately rained on the 23rd but site stayed dry. I would definately return to this park

Workers are very friendly. Easy to get in and out. And nice walking trails and fishing area. Too bad it wasnt good waether for us to rent a boat. For 5$ a day easy to do and cheap. 25 a night is reasonable and close to town.

We did an overnight stop here on xmas eve of 2013. A little off the beaten path, but the sites are large and just about all pull through. We were in site one and had our own deck. Hiking in park and an adjacent golf course. Loved the place!

We traveled through this area and found this wonderful place to stop. Nice level pads. Clean bathroom. There are some long term campers here but it is a quiet well kept place. Stopped on the way and way back for a night. Will definitely go back.

What can I say about this wonderfully ran city park? We were totally blown away with the amenities that a city run park could have. I have posted a picture which includes cement pad drive through, swing for two, covered picnic area and fire ring. Beatific manicured spots. Walk to the lake...but be careful of snakes! I would definitely return if I was to be traveling through Alabama again. Although not much in Greenville, there is a Walmart close by for groceries. We enjoyed our 1 week stay. $25 a day and buy 6 get the 7th free. How can you pass that up? We drive a Tiffin 34TGA with a toad.

Stayed for an overnight while heading south and will return for a longer visit. Sherling Lake is a very well maintained park. We did not use the bath house but did peek inside and found it acceptable. There is attractive bass lake in the park and adjacent is a Robert Trent Jones golf course. The park is located 4 easy miles off I-65, worth every mile.

This is our 4th time staying at this park over night on the way to and the way from the smokey mountains. It is a great stop as previously stated. Clean bathrooms. Quiet. FHU. Inexpensive. We will be back.

Stayed only night on our way to Atlanta. Would have loved to stay several nights to just sit back and enjoy this country setting. Friendly staff, clean well maintained property. Nice level site with full hookups. No cable TV, but got plenty of channels with air antenna. Our cell service was a little weak, thus Wi-Fi was a little spotty. For $30 a night you can't beat it. We will stop again. Hope we can stay longer next time.

What a little gem for passers-thru and campers alike! Most spots are fairly spacious, many convenient and HUGE pull-throughs, full hook-ups, $30/night. (Cash or check only.) We stayed Friday and Saturday nights with a last-minute call ahead (we probably called around 2pm; we arrived same-day around 9:30 pm, early March). Manager Mike was extremely friendly and helpful. Also pointed out to us the lake itself, a couple short hiking trails, and large playground area. Some folks were boating and fishing as well. Thank you, Greenville!

My husband and I are on our way to South Carolina. We had 3-4 options of place nearby to choose from, by chance we picked Sherling Lake. WOW, this park is beyond beautiful! Every amenity you can think of! We only stayed one night, Bill was so polite, took us to our space, offered to help hook up, service you don't see much anymore. Ladies and gents, stop here, relaxation at its best!!!!!

A nice park run by the city. Some full hookups, some with no sewer. We had a pull through that worked just fine. We were just passing through, but the staff was helpful and the park quiet. Not sure where the lake is though, never saw it.

Stayed two nights, this is a great clean park for quick stop or over night stop. had a pull thru spot that was semi-level, had to disconnect/hook up on incline. Nice paved roads and easy access to get to. Office manager escorted us to our site by golf cart during office hours. Plenty of quick fast food and wal-mart just up the road if needed to get anything. The road to the lakes close at dark so was not able to access any part of the lake. Seemed like most campers were just over night stops but did have about 5 campers who looked long term. No trash dumpster, and was not sure what we were to do with our trash.

We were looking for a place to stay on our way from Gatlinburg to Destin, and saw this park here on RVParky. What a nice little campground, run by the city of Greenville, Al. 42 campsites, all have water and electric, some also have full hookups. They also have 2 small lakes for fishing during the day as well. Manager was very nice, the park was pretty, and clean as well. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the area!

Lovely camp ground hidden off major highway, but close enough for easy access. Quit, clean, heated bathroom area. Beautiful lake area for a morning walk. Would highly recommend this spot.

This park was cool. We got in late and there was a sign that said to pick your spot and pay in the morning! So we explored the next day and turns out it has an awesome trail with really nice lake. We even saw some cool wildlife.
