Peaceful and Restful

Nice campground for those who like peace and quiet to go along wish fishing.
The negative aspect of our stay was:
Some of the sites are in rough shape as far as landscaping is concerned.
There is only one restroom/ shower facility for such a spacious campground, that is not cared for that much. Soap and hand towels were lacking.
There seems to be a maintenance crew but they spend most of the time riding around on golf carts instead of doing maintenance.

Friendly staff beautiful lakes & sunset nice & quiet large pull thru long way off I-10 campground roads bad owner just redid them but the contractor did a bad job Wanted to stay longer but we got a flood alert to go would go back

Miss Birdie was friendly and very helpful. Campground was easy to find, clean and family friendly. We stayed there in a motorhome.

Will stay here every time we are in the area ! Found this terrific park by sheer luck but SO glad we
did. Beautiful lakes for fishing, concrete pads, friendly staff, sites well maintained. Did not use bathhouse or laundry. Highly recommend this park.

Only stayed one night. Very reasonable priced. Lake views from every window. Lots of birds. Beautiful sunset. Concrete pad to park on. Six miles off highway.

A hidden treasure of an RV Park. Large sites circle several lakes giving each site access for fishing. Cement pads made leveling very easy. Friendly staff, beautiful area 6 miles off of I-10 very quiet.

Will Be Back

This was the first stop on our cross country adventure - FL to La in one day 10 hours drive time - we were exhausted but extremely delighted to arrive and find this campground. We had water views in the front and back of our site. Spent 7 days here and enjoyed every minute. They offer free fishing to campers. While we had poles we never seemed to find the time to get them wet. It is very convenient to Lafayette and Breaux Bridge itself was very nice too. If you love Cajun food like we do there are plenty of good restaurants very close by. It was crawfish season so we were in heaven! At the end of the week we headed to OK City for the 2nd leg of our trip.... Hope we find other campgrounds like this!

It's worth the 6 miles off the 1-10. We were only planning on staying 1 day...we stayed an extra day. Friendly check in, I loved the round abouts for running, husband loved the fishing. There is a horse pasture next door (love horses to it added to the view) the local market a nearby is good. We had to get some additioanl supplies, plenty of options....also get you a poboy.l while in lower LA...we went to Chris's... loved it.
