We stayed here for one night on a trip home. Upon checking in the office staff carried on a conversation with a friend the entire time she was checking us in. Total lack of customer awareness. Our sight was the tightest sight I have ever experienced and very uneven. I was concerned that if the neighbors started a fire in their fire pit it would scorch the paint on our truck. Thankfully it was raining!
Felt like a low end trailer park vs an RV resort.

If you want to do Philly, this is the place to stay. We were very happy with the staff. They answered all of our questions on how to get into Philly on the train, etc., Another reviewer said to get a spot in the back and I would agree. We were in spot #1. It was small and tight, but did help with WiFi reception. The pool was closed due to a storm that had come through the area. It's also kind of pricey, but again, it comes with the location.
I was not pleased with the laundry because one of the dryers messed up my clothes. I should have reported it but didn't.

Nice place
By user-6442368... on 2017-10-23.
Nice, clean quiet park. Great place to stay if you want to see the sites in Philly. A little pricey but when you are the only place in the surrounding area i guess you can be. There is a catch and release pond, tent sites, and RV sites with full hook-ups. Bathrooms are clean, and they have propane. 15-30 minutes to Philly. Make sure you call ahead for reservations, they are busy because they have no competition.

Great location

I like family owned parks. This smaller park is very nice. Try to get a site in the back loop, very quiet. Very good cable/wifi. Sites are flat, but close.

Mediocre
By user-4613805... on 2017-10-23.
Restrooms were filthy at 8 AM! Evening office staff was rude - acted like it was a real inconvenience to answer a question, but they are the closest to Philadelphia so I guess that's worth something.

Nice campground off beaten path
By user-5975768... on 2017-10-23.
This campground is in the process of upgrading to become a KOA. Very expensive for a night but for those of us staying a month it is very reasonable. Nice new shower rooms upfront, quiet location in a nice neighborhood, nice little pond in the back.

Good Value
By user-4950237... on 2017-10-23.
This is one of the few campgrounds open all year close to the I-95 corridor for folks headed south from northern New England in late fall. We live in northern New Hampshire and have used Timberlane the last three years, usually arriving the day after Thanksgiving on our way to Florida.
The staff has always been helpful taking reservations and putting us in a good pull through site. Rates for a full hookup site are what you'd expect in this market.
The campground and facilities have always been well maintained, and the park is pet friendly.
This park is a good option for those who need an easy in, easy out overnight spot as they pass through the area, or for those who want a base of operation for activities in the Philadelphia area.
There is fuel, including diesel, readily available at the exits just north or south of the park, restaurants are close by, and a Camping World close to the south.

Pleasant, but tight

This is a beautiful campground. The stuff is quite nice also.Fish in the pond was questionable, but I did spy a turtle! We are in Site 67,which is 50/w/s. There is a ring with no safe space to have a fire. We're talking tight! Our awning almost infringed! There are larger sites, so ask. They are totally sold out right now. Pretty area and nice for kids. They had a tornado in July which destroyed several trees :-( and the batting cage. There is cable and pay WiFi. I often saw staff cleaning the bath and laundry rooms.
This was good for a few days. Fairly close to Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
This is a Good Sam's campground. Rate was $44.10 after discount.
We're in our mid 50s and camped in a 38' Motorhome with tow. We had a pull through for 3 nights.

We travel south each winter from New Hampshire, late enough that our 5ver must be winterized. We like Timberlane because they stay open year 'round, are convenient to I95 and the Jersey turnpike, offet good rates and have a friendly staff. Fuel, food and services (Camping World) are close by. Big rigs are fine. The park is quiet and convenient. We've stayed many times and are always satisfied.

Very old and overpriced.
By user-5344346... on 2017-10-23.
This camper site was very old and not well maintained. The wifi only is available in the office and does not reach the sites and therefore need to pay extra onto of the $55 dollar fee for 4 in an 22 foot RV which we believe was very overpriced for the minimal facilities. Games room had a non functioning tv and wasn't welcoming. A tv was working in the office which they did allow us to come in and watch. The showers were a big issue. They had shower buttons that are on a timer (mine lasted 10 seconds before stopping) which made showering very irritating and we went without on the second day for this reason. Overall we went to Timberlane for its location but woukdn't stay there for any other reason again and woukdn't recommend for a holiday destination.

Get a hotel for less. No reason for the price

Overpriced and Unimpressive
By user-5811436... on 2018-07-06.
Beginning with the check in process, we were unimpressed. The lady checking us in seemed unaware that she worked in the hospitality industry. She pushed us through the check in process, and seemed annoyed that I wanted to ask a few questions. Our site was in an open field without a tree near by. The wifi is only available in the office, and not throughout the park. This would be a nice stop-over campground, if the price was $20 less per night.

Easy pullthru near the front & really nice staffers made this a perfect stop when we needed one. Very good connections - we like when the sewer is not near the others. Pizza delivery to our site from a local restaurant. Quiet - which we like. Propane filled & on our way! Thanks!

It's OK

It's not a bad park. We stayed in the back side of the park. The site we had was nice. It was on the end, right across from their pond. A little tight getting into the spot because of the trees but we made it.
No WIFI..well, there is a pay for WIFI but it's almost as good as no WIFI.
Staff was OK. The guys who guided me in was in a hurry to get back to the office to finish his lunch. Dumped me off, said he'd be back later to check on me...Never did. Good thing I didn't need him.
I would stay again because of the location. But they need to step things up a bit.

We got lucky on this one. We usually don t stay at KOAs cause we don t need all the amenities. But we needed a last minute spot for the holidays and we scored on a cancellation. Nice park. Great dog park since we have a husky. Hot showers. And laundry on site. It worked out for us.
