Very nice park. Excellent wifi and phone reception! Camp hosts are outstanding! Clipped trees so we would fit! Would definitely stay here again!

A great place to stay!
By user-6534805... on 2018-07-09.
We did not have reservations, but we're able to stay here for 6 days over the July 4th holiday weekend.
(This is not their busy season). They were very friendly, and the park is well-kept, quiet and perfect for us.
We had a shady site, reasonably level. Would definitely recommend it!

Shady retreat

We really like this campground. Far enough out to be very quiet, and lots of tall shade trees. Staff very nice.

Little tight

Everybody may rant and rave about all the others, but this one is great. Small AND quiet. Stayed 2 nights and will stay again in future.

Very nice
By user-5830075... on 2018-07-09.
We were very pleased with this campground. Site included picnic table, fire pit, cable, and was decently wide with some shade. The bathrooms were some of the best we've seen in a very long time. Individual stalls with toilets and a shower in each. They also had a nice patio outside the office with lounge chairs, tables, and 3 brand new propane grills. Only 10 miles from arches NP front gates. With our PA discount we paid just $19.50 per night for 3 nights. Would love to go back again!

Great Park

Stayed 2016-08-03 to 2016-08-06
We stayed here in a 38' motor home for the very reasonable Passport America rate of $24 per night. We had a shady site with 50 amp, water, sewer, cable and WiFi. While WiFi was sketchy our Verizon Hot Spot worked fine. Site wasn't level but jacks made it work. Good laundry. Very nice staff. Close to Moah and convenient to Arches and Canyonlands.
We highly recommend this nice quite park and will stay here every time we come to Moab.

Really nice showers and restrooms
By user-6078441... on 2018-07-09.
Stayed 2017-06-18 to 2017-06-21
The restrooms looked brand new and were a upscale job. They were better than the triple 10 resorts I have stayed in. Moab is a really dusty place, so they need to pave the main driveway in as most folks were doing 30 mph and dusting us with every drive by. Very few followed the 5mph speed. Wifi was good, good cell coverage for sprint, tmobile and att.

Nice park
By user-4519230... on 2018-07-09.
Sites are more than adequate to extend your slides & etc. Staff is friendly and the park is clean. You'll be far enough from town to escape the crowds but close enough for shopping. And, all the wonders of Utah are all around you.

Quiet Park

Stayed 2016-08-31 to 2016-09-07
I was given a large gravel pull-thru (46) with ample room for my 42' 5th wheel. I had a FHU site with great wi-fi. Laundry/Bathrooms are clean. If your are set up next to the access road, you will get a lot of road dust on your vehicles. Park is several miles from town. Yes I would stay here again, but away from entrance road

Nice, Old School Park
By user-5903555... on 2018-07-09.
Stayed 2016-09-25 to 2016-09-28
This park has been around but has all the comforts of home. This is not your shiny new glitzy park but it provides all the amenities you need and old fashioned, friendly service. First of all it's situated off the busy, Utah Hwy 191 so it's quieter. Second, it has level sites that aren't crammed together. All sites have power, (50 & 30 amp), water and sewer hookup. There are a few overflow sites that are "dry" but have level space and trees. The bathrooms are adequate and clean. Older type fixtures and Western themed stalls. Showers are the same. Adequate and clean with plenty of hooks and space to set your change of clothes. The laundry is very functional and open 24 hrs a day. The Wifi is sorely inadequate but that seems to be typical these days. But there is free cable TV. All in all very pleasant. Especially with Passport America members discount.

Very quiet and close to city
By user-5285709... on 2018-07-09.
Stayed 2017-04-07 to 2017-04-12
We stayed here 4 nights - 27 ft fifth wheel. I liked that it was really quiet and we had enough room to park and hang around with BBQ and campfire.
It is 5 miles from downtown and far enough from the highway to sleep well at night compared to many other campsites that are right on the highway - KOA for example. We paid 49$ approx per night.
Wifi was slow and cable was good, then again, we didn't come here to stay indoors.

Quite and relaxing
By user-5791697... on 2018-07-09.
We are very pleased with our stay with adequate accommodations for big rigs. Close to everything and the staff was very nice and friendly. We recommend this for anyone that wants an affordable stop and easy access to highway and Moab.

Surprise, surprise
By user-5873427... on 2018-07-09.
I'm pretty shocked by the difference between the posted reviews and reality. This place is actually kind of a dump. Old, crumbling, inadequate restrooms and showers (2 stalls, 1 bathroom each gender for the entire park), plus they cram people into their so called "dry camping" area, which is just the entrance lawn and along driveways. Their drinking water is foul, even after filtering through a Brita filter. It's basically a large lot, shared with homes and of course right on a busy road. Worse place we have stayed in in all of Utah.

OK

Quiet park 3 miles south of Moab off the beaten path. Spaces are tight and not all equal in size. Park is clean and well kept. Does not have a pool or dog walk area. It's a nice park to explore Moab and the Nat'l parks. Park is friendly. Showers are clean; small laundry area. They accept Passport America so it's a great one to use. Make your reservations way in advance as they fill up.

A definite gem!

This park is a definite gem of a park! When you are passing through towns that are mainly tourist destinations it can be very hard to escape the noise and hassles that goes with such a location. O.K. RV Park & Canyonlands Stables is a great rv park with a very friendly staff, clean facilities and a very down home feeling. Sites are fairly level, the park is well kept and you will find staying here a very relaxing experience. You will find that you do not have road or train noise to contend with so you get a great nights sleep when you stay here.
Wifi was very good, strong signal with good bandwidth.
You are still close enough to town to get into the tourist scene if you wish. You are also near all of the featured attractions of the area as well.
So yes I do recommend this rv park and I will be staying here again in a few short weeks!

we would stay here again. Huge spaces, good wifi and cable.

Nice park. Some grassy sites. Quiet. Friendly. 5$ to wash your rv. Less expensive because its 5 miles from town. Spectacular views of the mountains.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights. Wonderful, friendly staff. Went out of their way to find a ladder so we could work on our slide out cover. Long pull throughs. Gorgeous views. We paid $30 night. Well worth it.

We spent three weeks in this park and found it quiet and we'll run. Management was making improvements in the patio area that will enhance the warmer months with a new water feature. Very nice stay Feb 17 - Mar 11.

Nice, Quiet Park

Staff is very friendly and helpful. FHU sites have grassy area with table and fire pit. Most have shady area. Other sites are W/E only (with dump site) and some are just along the road or in a driveway. Cable has plenty of channels and WiFi is good. Didn’t use facilities so can’t speak to them. Sites all pretty level.
Complaint is whoever planted the trees gave it no thought. Here is May and it looks like it’s snowing! Gone to seed things fly off the trees and coat the ground. Can’t eat or drink outside - can’t even sit outside as these fairy dust (think a dandelion gone to seed) things fly in your mouth and nose. Here in May, probably fine other times of year. Paid $38 for FHU and $30 for W/E sites. That was with some discount but not sure what. Would stay again, but not in May.

Acceptable
By user-5294358... on 2018-07-09.
Just spent one night here. $38 military rate for a pull-through site with full hookups. Site 24 had zero shade. Didn't use any of the facilities but hubby said they were fine. Cable tv with plenty of channels. Good wifi. Staff was super nice. The only drawback for me was it seemed so far town.

Off the main road which is nice
By user-5880184... on 2018-07-09.
Most of the RV parks seem be off the main road. This one isn’t so I think it’s a little more quite. It’s probably one of the furthest from the National Park (15 min drive) but we had a car so that was fine. Lots of cable channels. Didn’t use facilities. Staff was really nice. Would come back again.

Great RV park
By user-6191655... on 2018-07-09.
This was a fantastic place to stay. The park manager, Kim, was a pleasure to deal with. The restrooms and showers were clean and we'll kept. There is a patio area with propane grills with tables and chairs. We will definitely stay here again.

Little road noise
By user-5301829... on 2019-08-09.
Somewhat off the main road. Level sites, good wifi. Easy to maneuver 32c w toad. Little light at nite for star gazers. Make sure you check directions - no signage on main road. Well worth the extra effort to get here.

Great Jumping Off Spot

Moab in the autumn is spectacular! No crowds, no long wait lines, gorgeous weather and this is the perfect RV park for seeing all the wonderous sites in the area. The park is located behind a horse show arena in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The WiFi is good , the Verizon cell sites are good and the folks in the park are excellent! The laundry room is well kept and the dryers run long, so my bed blanket got completely dry by the time it was finished.
Sites are relatively level packed gravel and well spaced. The trees at each site provide nice shade, although we didn't have any hot weather to worry about. Canyonlands, Arches, Dead Horse Point, among others are all easily accessed from the park and the office is happy to help with questions you may have.
There are several good restaurants, some nice venues with music, and good grocery stores nearby. We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every one!!
