Convenient, Clean park

The park is small but exceptionally well maintained. The owner is very friendly. The only issue we had was that the rooster in the pen next door crowed loudly all night long.

Easy on, easy off

We stayed here 1 night while travelling to Ohio. A quiet, bare bones park, close to the freeway. Owner was very nice, sites are gravel, in a field. There is shopping and restaurants close by, but not walking distance. Would definitely stay here again while travelling.

Quiet convenient and easy access

We have family in athens and this was ideal location. Full hookup. Nothing fancy. Walmart down the road. Just simple respite from driving at great price.

Convenient, Clean, No Frills Campground

Stayed here one night while traveling South. I have to say, I was impressed, especially considering how many campgrounds that have charged us more for less. Clean, level gravel sites that are plenty big enough to accommodate. Didn't try the wifi, but it was available in case we needed it. No permanent residents, which we found to be a big plus. Wes is a one man show, and he does a great job maintaining the place. He only takes cash (or check, maybe...I don't quite remember), so go to the ATM ahead of time. I also appreciated the noon checkout time, as we were tired from the long trip. We would definitely stop here again the next time we're passing through.

All we needed for a quick over-nighter

Very clean and quiet. The rooster crowed for awhile but was no bother. Wrote a check for $30 and slipped it into the box by the front door. Great stay! Will def stay again when in area.

Welcome sight right off interstate..no frills here fellow campers..just plug in and wait for the Roosters to wake you up no extra charge.....Will be back here again and again

Perfect one night stop!

We needed a place to rest for one night during our long drive to the coast. This park was perfect! Easy access right off of the interstate, huge level pull thru sites, full hookups with great water pressure, and lots of close dining options. Everyone here was very friendly and welcoming. No amenities but for what it is, it’s perfect. Good spot for a night or two to get some rest. $30 cash or check only per night.

Good for a night or two

The biggest feature of this park is the large pull-through sites... although mine was not very level. The WiFi is okay... just good enough for email. There are no amenities, but it is very close to I-65. Also, we were kept awake both nights by a barking dog in the farm next door.

Campground is nice, but ..

The dogs from the place next door kept barking. I even ran the AC fan to muffle the barking but it didn't help. I'll be using ear plugs tonight. It's a good thing we use 50A as the 30 amp plug at my site was burned up. It's convenient and close to the highway. All sites pull thru and full hook up. No shower facilities.
