I was told at the Springfield RV show on 2/19/17 by a KOA vendor that they had purchased this property and will be remodeling and reopening as a KOA this spring. He's got a long row to hoe. I wish him well.
This is more of a trailer park and pretty run down. I will say the staff is helful and went out of thier way to get us situated when it was 9pm and we could not find any RV parks in the area that answer their phones after 4pm. We stayed one night - cash only ($40) - but the man waited up for us and helped us park.
$45. Sewer is limited to gray water only. I thought this curious, but shrugged and paid the fee, since my gray tanks fill much faster. Campsite had no sewer hookup, so I suppose the management intended to simply release gray water on the ground. I'm good with that.
