Great Spot

This is one of the best KOA's we've been to. Warm and welcome greeting from the moment we arrived, a short tour of the place, an escort to our campsite, a level lot with easy hookups, and although busy, enough room between well positioned campsites to give you a feel of privacy. A beautiful (and clean) pool & hot tub, showers and laundry facilities. Call to reserve your spot for the hourly shuttle bus that will take you to downtown Nashville for $10pp roundtrip and bring you home hourly on the half hour. Best way to go! Great Campground located very close to the Grand Old Opry. The sites were level and very nicely shaded. There were fire pits available and buses taking you into downtown Nashville. We would have loved to stayed longer.
By user-5830300... on 2017-10-23.
We have stayed here about 10 times, in a camper and their cabins. Very clean nice campground close to the Grand Ol Opery. Shuttle to downtown and they sell tickets to anything you want to do in Nashville. We like it and will definitely be back.

The park is very clean and has great amenities. However, the price was very high and the cable TV was horrible. It is also a very busy park in a very busy part of town.
By user-5615823... on 2017-10-23.
This is the most expensive campground we have stay in. Over $60. per night. Now I know we are in Nashville, but come-on. However, very clean camp. Very nice people in the office area, and close to everything we wanted to see.

We spent a week in a premier site. Fantastic location, yes a little pricey, but that's Nashille these days.

Substandard treatment
By user-4507565... on 2017-10-23.
I have been staying for 5 months. Extended stays have to stay on the back side of the campground. I can understand that. However, a customer is a customer regardless if they are staying one night or many. If you stay on the premium sites at 100$ per night all is fine but if you stay on a lower budget site then you are treated substandard at a lower class. Premium sites are well taken care of and when mowed they are blown off with the blower. I work hard and I pay my rent just like a over night guest. So as far as I can see my yard is mine as long as I pay. I respect the campground and do not destroy the grounds. However the grounds keepers at this koa do NOT respect customers on any sites except for premium. Every time they mow they deliberately blow all grass towards my home. Everything I have is covered in grass clippings. I have asked that they do not blow that way but every time they do. I work hard for what I own and it is terrible that this company allows their employee to disrespect customers and their home.
I would never recommend staying here to anyone unless you can afford the premium sites. You will be disappointed and possibly have property damage.

Meh..
By user-4720426... on 2017-10-23.
Very pricey for the space we had. With taxes, it came to 68.00. Gravel site, pretty level, full hook ups with 50 amp. Very small site for the money. They were putting in a new( er) pool, do that wasn't available. Store was pretty well stocked. One thing they did have that I have never seen was an agility course set up for the dogs. My Schnauzers loved it! So did I for that matter! Garbage and recycle pick up every morning, which is nice.
They have "premium" sites available for an additional 10.00. The difference being, you have pavement, provided patio furniture, and a little more space with grass. There is a downtown shuttle bus and for 10.00 each, they will take you to downtown Nashville and back. Bus runs from about 10 am to midnight. We camped in a 40' motorhome and no toad.

Friendly staff, clean bathrooms. It's a busy park but we thought the location was very convenient. Shuttle to downtown. Live music on Thursday nights.

Great, quiet park. Close to interstate so easy to get to sites in Nashville. Nice little stream to explore. Small pool. Musical entertainment Thursday night was Paul Hill and he was great. Some of sites had trees for shade. Sites were fairly roomy and level.
Negative side was the nasty, rude campers who don't pick up after their dogs when they poop. Imagine how nasty their campers must be. The green grass area in front of the back row was loaded with poop, and it seems that the rule of eviction for failure to pick it up is ignored.

Many sites unsafe, they don’t care.

After being in a site for about 2 hrs a branch from the dead tree over site fell on my RV. The branch was 2-3” in diameter and about 10 feet long. I noticed the dead tree when I arrived and was disappointed that it would provide no shade. Falling branches are another matter! Since there were many much larger dead branches above my RV, I realized that it was actually dangerous to stay in this site. Looking around I saw that there were many other open sites that I could move too. A few others also had dead trees and branches over them. I requested a change from the KOA folks and they said the only other available site was one that also had dead trees over it. I asked about one that I could see was open and they said someone was coming tomorrow. I asked them to move me to that site for the night and cut the tree in the morning. It was clear that they were irritated and eventually hung up on me. I decided to ignore them and move to the safer unoccupied site. The next morning I went to the office and experienced the same rude behavior. They acted as if they did me a favor by letting me stay for my prepaid 3 days in a different site. These folks need customer service and courtesy training and they expressed no regard for the damage to my RV or the safety of their guests.
Beyond this major issue, the grounds are pretty, the pool and store are nice. Close to Opryland and a mall. Relatively expensive, wifi only works 10-20% of the time and the site I moved to backed to a noisy repair shop.
Summary: No regard for safety. Won’t stay here again.

Super location
By user-5786266... on 2017-10-23.
This park is located close to the Opry. Lots are very tight getting in and out of pull through in our 41ft rig. Recommend paying for larger premium sites. Nice park.

This is a very average park... even by KOA standards. They get a lot of business because of their location near Nashville's Grand Old Opry. We had a gravel pull-through spot that had very little gravel and was very muddy. We were escorted to the spot, but the fellow didn't even help center the RV in the space. The cable TV is analog and fuzzy and the WiFi was unusable. All this for a ridiculously high price!

I don't know what other reviews mean but this place was worth the few extra dollars! Big pool, large play area with full size chess and checkers. Nice play area for kids...beautiful. Sites were plenty big enough, 32 ft travel trailer and truck with no problem. Many full size motor homes with no issues. Shuttle service was awesome. Absolutely recommend paying the few bucks extra to stay here!!

I don’t understand how anybody can give this place anything but 5 stars! Super friendly and helpful staff, level sites, many with mature trees. Our section for the smaller RVs had large gravel, but the section for the big rigs was all paved and had even bigger trees. Rest rooms obviously new and spotless, and individual showers for safety. Huge pool and hot tub, game room, jumping pillow, and many outdoor games. This place has it all! It is worth every penny with its great location just two short miles from the Grand Old Opery and all the surrounding entertainment. Camping World just next door as well.

Checked in 4 months ago. Was told we could park company truck in overflow parking. All of a sudden she said we had 24 hours to remove it or it would be towed. When I explained that we were told to park there, she called me a liar and threatened to kick us out. I told her I would be up there to talk face to face and she left the premises. Needless to say, we will be kicked out Friday when our month is up. And we are reserved for one year due to working in area and the sad thing is, we love the Campground

Give me a break
By user-4915197... on 2018-07-06.
The premium sites are nice and maintained. If you’re a regular Joe and happen to get assigned a site that’s not premium, make sure your insurance premium is paid. Many dead trees and live trees with huge dead limbs over the sites. Sites and roads paved but those not in the premo section are muddy if it rained.
Bathhouse hot water is a controlled temp that at best is tepid. Had some weather predicted so had to take pics of dead tree by picnic table that overhung unit.
Have stayed at a lot of KOA’s all over the country but this one is a non repeat. Owners milking a good name and not spending the money to make things safe. It’s SAD for what they charge to stay there.

I don’t know what the others are talking about. Super friendly and helpful staff, level sites, many with mature trees. Rest rooms obviously new and spotless, and individual showers but water could have been hotter. Huge pool and hot tub, game room, jumping pillow, and many outdoor games. This place is a great location just two short miles from the Grand Old Opery and all the surrounding entertainment. There is a shuttle but we just used an Uber car. Would stay again.

Another great KOA. We stayed in an RV site and our visiting friends stayed in a cabin. Both were great. As is normal for KOA resorts, they have a lot of amenities for the family and this was no exception. They had a great pool, horseshoes, outdoor chess and checkers, basketball courts, bocce ball, pool and ping pong inside the club house, etc. The wifi worked decent and their bathrooms and showers were clean as expected. They offer a shuttle service from the park to the downtown area, which I highly recommend you use. We had a great time in Nashville and this park was perfect for us. We highly recommend this park and will be staying here again when we come back to Nashville.
By user-5562674... on 2019-08-09.
Very nice KOA. A little expensive. Stayed in a premium site. But worth it if you are a country music fan. Very close to the opry. You can drive over to it and park in the mall parking lot. Shuttles to downtown so you don't have to worry about drinking and driving. Hookups are great..no issues. Easy in/out with our 42' 5W and truck. Nice park.

Nice park, close to Opryland and the Gaylord. Close to Opry Mills.
The Delixe sites are very nice, wide, level pad. Nice patio and, chairs and table. They pick up your garbage in the mornings. Nice clean showers and restrooms. The pool is very nice, just not heated. Hot tub was not as warm as we normally like it. A little highway noise, but manageable. it is very c,ose to the freeway. Friendly staff, very nice laundry room. Again a little expensive, $2.00 per wash or dry load, $1.25 at most places.
Overall a very nice park, just very expensive. We got the three day winter special, where you stay three nights, but pay for two, our bill was still $190, with taxes, etc.

Buildings and services in top conditions. We stayed in a luxury site (came day early at last minute) snd then moved to a regular spot. Office staff very helpful in helping with the timing of the move so we could still go out and enjoy Nashville. Shuttle worked out great.

Extremely nice park close to everything.
By user-6336722... on 2019-08-09.
We've stayed at another nearby park on a previous visit,it was ok but the KOA is really nice. Great amenities including a shuttle to/from downtown. Our pull-thru was a bit short requiring me to "parallel park" in front of the rig. Staff seemed a bit "aloof". When I went in to register, there was a young girl on the phone and a woman at the next station looking at something on her computer, but she never even looked up and greeted me. The young girl finished up on the phone and then was very pleasant. Also the golf cart escort drove to, then through my site and just kept going! Watch out, I've still got my KOA website to review!
