We are staying at Massey's Landing in a motorhome in the middle of the week in late September. The campground is maybe 20% occupied. We are in a waterfront site. The roads are paved. The pad is paved and nearly level. The picnic table area is packed sand and grass. Sites are a little close, but there is ample room for awnings and each site includes an additional parking space. The hookups are convenient. The water connection is low to the ground and uses a standard faucet that requires multiple turns to open and close. WiFi is strong and very usable as they have antennas spread throughout the campground. TV cable is excellent as it provides many channels in both analog and digital format. This campground is worthy of being called a resort. It has all of the amenities, including a swimming pool, beach, tiki bar, store, restaurant that will deliver to your campsite, snack bar, rental of bicycles, kayaks, and golf carts. All of this does not come cheap, but this may be a case of getting what you pay for. This can be a destination campground as opposed to a stopover on the way to somewhere else. It is on the Rehoboth Bay, not on the ocean, but they do run a shuttle to the ocean beaches during the summer. We are enjoying our stay. It may not be quite as enjoyable for us during prime season when they are fully occupied, depending on your preferences. We like the quiet times and privacy. There is no highway noise. There are many boats on the bay during the day but the area near the campground is a no wake area so it is quiet. There are not a lot of shade trees, but the orientation of our site affords us shade from our RV and awning throughout the day and evening. We like the resort and would recommend it.
We spent three night here, June 2018. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The beach area is quiet and very clean. The pool area is very clean, and the wait staff was attentive with food and drinks around the pool. We had a blast. There’s a very nice dog beach. Very pet friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
Good camground for a beach experience. Can be a lot of golf cart traffic and busy at night on Fridays and Saturdays. Sites are paved for The Landing Club. Therefore, level sites. Bath houses are some of the most well kept I have ever seen. Area for dogs on the beach. You will find crabs in the shallow water areas.
