Stayed 2015-07-01 to 2015-07-05
Full hook ups and easily accessible pads. The lake is well kept and 1.25 mile walking sidewalk surrounds the lake. Swimming section is set up with life guards. The Internet access is the best I have found with 5.24 mb download and 1.6 mb upload. Easily streamed movies and YouTube on Apple TV.

Tucked nicely in wood but BEWARE it's first come first served.
By user-5906247... on 2017-10-23.
We called earlier in the day to reserve a pull through site. When we arrived all pull through sites were taken. Policy was not explained on the phone. Most if not all pull through sites were extremely curved drastically limiting longer rigs with dual sided slides.
Camp seemed very family and bicycle friendly.
Bonus star for refund despite conflicting policy.

Amazing place
By user-5878309... on 2017-10-23.
We arrived @ 8 pm so it was dark and the road back to it was long. For the the gate at the beginning we had to call the number on it and then it directed us to sheriffs office and they set us up over the phone .
So nice and really beautiful especially in the morning - as someone said t is a gem.
Probably the best park out of our whole journey from Alaska so far.

Hidden Gem
By user-5820853... on 2017-10-23.
This is a hidden gem except on weekends. We spent over a week here. Only negative is that there is no security patrolling so quiet times are violated on Friday and Saturday nights. Pads are first come first serve. The newer pads are gorgeous - wide, paved, level. The WiFi is very good. I will stay again - hopefully they assign security on weekend evenings.

Nice campground
By user-5294006... on 2018-03-14.
We stayed one night in a 40' motorhome. Level asphalt back in site with lake views, tho water level of lake was down. Full hookups were welcomed but unable to connect to wifi. Sites were well treed and there were a few pull thru sites within the park. Reservations guarantee you a spot but does not assign you a site...that is on a first come first choice basis. There is a nice 1.25 mile asphalt walking trail around the lake. Will definitely return to this park!! We paid $25...great value.

Great Park
By user-4735971... on 2018-05-17.
Park is very clean and has good hiking and mountain bike trails. Beautiful view of pond. It is first come first serve so living local let’s them get first serve. Two weekends in December are reserved for Lincoln Lights up the Pines and all RVs are decorated with lights.

Great Park! Improvements being made
By user-4735971... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-03-01 to 2019-03-03
I agree with the other reviews here and will plagiarize a few. It is owned by the parish and they are selling the water from the lake for drilling so at times the water will be down until it refills. That is a great thing because they are pouring the money back into the RV spots. We were there this weekend and 2 were being torn out and completely redone. WiFi worked fine for me and the spots were clean and level. Bike Trails are closed when there is a ton of rain so that keeps them in better shape. Lincoln Light up the Pines has been reduced to 1 weekend now. It is first come first serve so you do benefit being local and dropping off the camper at lunch (they ban people coming out and putting out cones/chairs, RV must be there). Security does make loops but stops after gate hours though the is management on site so I figure there is a number that could be called. Bike helmets required. Seriously worth a stop!
