Sometimes you find a place and it's above and beyond all expectations. This is one of those places. The park is well maintained and the owners are great, both friendly and helpful. A real gem!

Very friendly owners. Clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. Spaces were roomy, level all rock with green space in between. Easy on/off I70 but little road noise, close to Hermann Mo wineries. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful grounds. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Full hook ups or just electric. Off leash dog park. Good WiFi. Pristine pool. 1.5 miles off I 70.

Just 1.5 miles off of I-70 Lazy Day Campground is a clean, organized and a charming campground. Lots of shade, fishing, community room and large fenced in dog park. Friendly staff too. Highly recommend

Stopped for one night in early June. Loved the facilities. Great, great dog park. Big, grassy and secure. Wish we had something that nice for a backyard. Bathrooms were clean, cutely decorated. Pool looked nice although we didn't try it. Lots of pretty landscaping. Probably the best campsite we've stayed at although we are newbie RVers.

We arrived here for a one night stay while traveling to SD from Nashville. We were meet by a very nice lady named Kim who took us to our site. We were given a pull thru site that easily accommodates our 42' 5th wheel and truck. Sites are gravel and not perfectly level, but not a problem to level up the rig. Each site has a grassy area with a picnic table and fire ring. The park is very well kept up; you can tell the owners care about the place. Their is a small store with ice, junk food and other merchandise that most parks sell. They have all kinds of free movie dvd's to watch if your into movies. I would give this this place a 5 star if they had cable TV. The wi-fi works great. The park is quiet and just about 2 miles off the interstate. We would definitely stop here again if by here. I highly recommend the place.....

Very nice, clean park with friendly staff. Easy to maneuver our 22ft class c with a tow. Got there just as they were starting their ice cream social and heard about the movie they were showing later.

This was our first time using the RV Parky app, and we were very pleasantly surprised. This is a well-maintained campground run by very friendly folks. We have a 38' 5th wheel and paid $32 for the night (full hook-ups.) Pretty good Wi-Fi. Note: If you have dogs, be sure to pick up after them. The park's rules state, "Please pick up after your pet...it's embarrassing to pack up and move out when the whole park is watching you! (...if you do not pick up after your pup we will ask you to leave on a loud speaker)

arrived in a motorhome towing a vehicle, asked for a pull thru site since we were only staying one nite..site was gravel and somewhat level, no problem, the wifi worked well, however they said I would get 4 channels off my antenna, I revived NONE. this campground would definately rate a 5 if they had cable tv...

Very nice place to stay. Kim will do her best to accommodate ALL her, as she called it, "back yard guest". Some people say their are a lot of rules, but most of them are common courtesy and cent rules. WE WILL BE BACK!!

Stayed here for one night 10/04/15. Park is beautifully maintained with level spacious sites. Off the highway so it is quiet. Best part is a huge fenced dog park. One of the nicest places we have stayed!

We are happy to have found such a nice place. Our stay was only overnight, but we found a jewel. From the initial phone call through our departure we were happy. Lazy Day Campground is a clean, well cared for, welcoming place that was easy to get to, easy to maneuver through with our motorhome towing a vehicle.

What a nice place with nice owners. Was going to stay one night but stayed two. My buddy Murphy loved the dog park and meeting other four legged friends. A must stop and will stop again.

On my seasonal travels back and forth between Colorado and Florida I have stayed at Lazy Days four times. It's always a pleasure to visit this campground. The bathrooms and showers are extremely clean and well-kept. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. They even have a whole wall of DVDs to watch at no charge. I will always make attachments to stay at Lazy Days when I travel that way.

Called Friday, mid morning and asked if they had a site for that night. They did and held it using my name only. I told them we would be arriving late and would gladly give them my credit card but they didn't need it. They only asked that I would call if arriving after 9 PM. I did call as we were going to be a little later. When we arrived about 9:15PM the owners were in a golf cart and met us as we drove in. Check in was quick and they directed me to our site. The camp ground is very neat and clean as are the rest room and laundry area. The price was very reasonable for such a nice campground. If we ever need to stop in this area again this will be my first choice for a place to stay. The campground is just over a mile from I-70 and is in a quiet location. This is one of the nicest campgrounds I have stayed at, especially considering the price. Getting large trailers or RVs into the campground is no problem. Definately a 5 star facility.

Loved this campsite. Kim was great host. All gravel but easy to level out. Make sure to walk down to the lake. Quiet and beautiful!! Will definitely come back!!
By user-5819537... on 2017-10-23.
Very nice campground with friendly owners. Located off of the interstate, so no road noise. A little tight to maneuver our 40ft 5th wheel but we were able to. The only negative thing was that the Wi-Fi wasn't working.
By user-6538034... on 2017-10-23.
Excellent facilities with easy level parking. Recommend for overnight or longer if you are touring the area. Easy on and off of I70, very little traffic noice.
By user-5790955... on 2017-10-23.
Traveling across I-70 and needed a place to overnight. We called and they said come on over. The access from I-70 is about 3 miles. You won't hear traffic noise. Beautiful setting on a hill with well terraced and level gravel pads and wide interior roads. It is evident that this park was designed by someone who camps in an RV and knows that wide lanes and a wide distance between sites is a real attribute. The staff is friendly and we were led to our site. All sites have well made study and clean picnic tables. Each site has a fire pit. The utilities were convenient and the Wi-Fi was okay. No cable, but the television reception was very good with a dozen channels. We would revisit. We camped at Lazy Day Campground in a 5th wheel trailer.

We are newer camper owners having picked up our new travel trailer on a Tuesday in August and we were able to get a spot for 2 nights that same weekend when most other places were already booked. The camp hosts were so very helpful from meeting us with the golf cart to escort us to our site to helping us with our very first hookup. We love the campground and hosts so much that we ended up staying there 4 different weekends from August to October for little getaways. We went in to Herman one of the weekends to sightsee and visit the wineries. Lazy Day is a quiet, clean, first class campground. We never had any issues with tv or internet. Everything was perfect.

We stopped here for 5 days on our way to Indiana. Great people who run this park, very friendly and offered all kinds of places to check out. The bathhouse and laundry were exceptionally clean. They even provided snow our last night here, a treat for us Florida folks. Need a good place to stop for the night or a couple of days, we highly recommend this park.

Last stop on our cross country trip saved the best for last. Dan and Nancy have just taken over a really nice camp and are going to do a great job. The place is clean quiet beautiful and the bathrooms are an adventure just to look at. They are good folk. Biggest laundry facility I have seen in a small campground lots are level and big landscaping is great.

It is hard to find enough great words to describe this campground. The owners made the place so welcoming. From the time we pulled in and needed a grate for the fire ring, to my granddaughter getting scuffed from a fall on the gravel and the owner opened the store after hours to give her ice cream, to loaning us syrup for pancakes, this campground and owners were just simply amazing. The grounds are well maintained and decorated in a way that made relaxing the norm. We loved the incredible fenced dog play area and the immaculately clean, large laundry room. The shower rooms/ bath house was decorated playfully. For those who want to explore, there is a nice nature hike. The entire campground was very easy access and relaxing. Nice job owners! Thank you for a great stay!!

Writing this review as I sit outside enjoying the birds and breeze. What a great little park, the new owners are very friendly ! Park is clean, well maintained and very quiet. Have an awesome site that is level and has easy access to hookups. If your traveling thru Missouri on Interstate 70 and are looking for a place to stay the night or weekend I definitely would suggest stopping by Lazy Days!!

This is the best place we've been at, during our 3 months trip (with almost a new campground each day...). They are very welcoming, the sites are clean and level, the bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. All this for a very reasonable price. Would definitely come back again.

Beautiful campground run by two of the nicest people. It is obvious they take very good care of the place. A storm came through while we were here and afterward they were going around picking up all the sticks that had fallen so that the road and sites remained clean. Fantastic weekend, and will absolutely stay again!

We were travelling from Montana to Florida in early December, 2018. Nancy, the owner, gave us perfect directions to get there (as exit 170 was under construction), then gave us a perfect campsite that was level and close to the bath house. This place is cool! The bath house is decorated great and extremely clean. The somewhat out-of-the-way route to the campground was offset by just seeing the bath house! Spectacular! If we lived closer we would definitely be regular guest here.

Traveling west late March of 2019 after all the rains and flooding. Other places wet and muddy, but not here! Well cared for, large dry gravel pads. Nice owners who obviously take pride of ownership.

Read the other reviews. All true. Clean and pleasant. About the only very small negative is it seems to be a destination for groups of families on the weekend. Lots of friendly folks but was a little loud with kids screaming and dogs barking. But that s cool. vIs it Hermann, walk the Katy trail visit the state park across 70. Nice stop over!

Best park we ve stayed at (except for maybe Disney s Fort Wilderness, but this one s far less expensive). Immaculate facilities and grounds. Pool, outdoor play area, pond, trails, two clubhouses, small store, shaded gravel sites, large fenced pet area with plush mown grass, good internet signal (site 16), two bars for Verizon LTE. Most sites are pull-through. Roads are gravel but well maintained. Friendly owners and staff. Near Hermann MO (we came for the wine festival).
