| Nice place if you're looking for lots to do

By user-5686146... on 2017-10-23.

This is not our standard park ideal- it's definitely a tourist trap. However after blowing a tire and needing to have our TT checked for repairs in the morning it was a necessity to stop. The road into the park is narrow and steep. In fact, the whole park is pretty narrow, road wise. There is not enough room to park next to your coach. They do have a parking lot but it is small and most people park along the side of the road (making the already narrow roads even tighter). Also, expect to pay $50+ per night for full hookups and sewer. All this being said, there really are tons of activities for families! The pool is still open in the end of September; there's a pretty decent play ground; and the mini golf looked well taken care of. The general store is pretty well stocked but beware if entering with little ones, cheap toys (quality not price) are right at their level. The staff is very friendly and the bathroom and shower houses are nice and clean. Ultimately, not an ideal stop unless you're looking for crowds and expect plenty to do. Within to Six Flags.

| Very crowded and busy campground

First the pros: It's a Yogi Bear FHU campground with lots of options for the boy to do. Pool, playground, train ride (for a fee), general store, nice clean roomy shower room, near Six Flags, Walmart 1.7 miles away, right off the interstate 44. Now the cons: Very crowded and small campsites with not enough room to have a campfire. There was a fire ring in the ground that was full of water after a rain storm. So not worth buying firewood. That was frustrating. I really look forward to a nice camp fire. We were put right by the front. People were constantly honking early in the morning. 80-90% of the campground is the cottages. There were travel trailers and motor homes and a couple pop ups. Our dogs did not want to pee in the gravel. We had a hard time finding grass for them. Ohhhh, the entry into park is a bit of a shock. There is a dramatic incline up a hill just to get into the campground. Be aware of that.

| NEVER AGAIN

Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Eureka Missouri - by Six Flags Wanted a pull through spot for one night to dump & not unhook the car. That didn’t happen. Their 3 premium pull through sites are very uneven and they are the front yard/parking spaces for six cabins (thank goodness it wasn’t high season). Plus in 6 years of full timing, had a first - family comes in next to us at 10PM & it’s Midnight before they stop hooking up, settling in, what ever it was they were doing ! The icing on the cake was a train at 4:30AM !! 5/4/18
