| Disappointing!!

We stayed here in a 40' motorhome for thanksgiving week. While we knew this would be more "commercial" than out typical state park stays, disappointed in the overall feel of the place. Sites were very close and small tho our site was a level concrete parking pad with full hookups. Picture we saw showed a motorhome on the lake but what it didn't show was the fence and drop off which didn't enhance the view. Park had a rundown feel to it and could use some attention. The bathhouse, which we didn't use, had lots of leaves inside the building. The laundry also needs maintenance as flooring was coming up and leaves were inside. Staff was very helpful and allowed us to change our site for easier access in our larger motorhome. Beware there's a tight cul-de-sac which, to avoid, you would have to back out. Treetop adventure and zip line was a nice way to spend an afternoon. I can't imagine staying here when waterpark is open as noise level and crowds would probably be awful!! Cable tv worked but it was limited. Wifi worked but also slowed when park got more visitors. Nashville airport is less than 5 miles away and made for easy access to pick up visitors. We didn't not feel bothered by noise of airplanes tho some might feel this is an issue. Price seems high for "off season". We paid about $60/night. Checkout is posted as being 10:00 am but we didn't feel pressured to be out by that time. Maybe because it was their "off season"

| Unpleasant RV park

60 a night, small roads, tight spots, bathrooms very dated, not very nice, didn’t look or smell great. Water park so was super noisy, airport nearby so plane noise, WiFi -didn’t work, Apparently one dumpster for entire 85 sites? Smelly overflowing multiple days. Sewer has raised pvc tubes caused some minor issues. Check out 10am which is annoying but doable. The lake is a fenced off body of water. No idea why they would keep us away from the lake by chain link fence everywhere. Bizarre. In short one of the most expansive stays and least appealing. If your here only for water park then may be a good stay. Of your looking for nice RV stop- might want to go else where

Stay here whenever we pass through to the east coast. Generally quiet except for the holidays. Sites could be more level.
