We paid 45 cash for one nite. Nice view and large sites. Full hook up too. The bathrooms are cramped dirty and tired
This campground is packed yearly. Why? Because it's the only campground that's open for 4 seasons, anywhere in this area of New Jersey. The entrance road to the campground makes the local mechanics and tow truck operators very happy and IS DANGEROUS to YOUR RV (or for any other vehicle for that matter). Big craters for you to bottom out in are located in the dirt entrance road. You can't go around them. This family campground has been located in this location forever. RV's are sandwiched right on top of each other. Someone wrote a review: Best Campground around! Should have wrote, only campground around. Gets expensive if you're here long term .. and a lot of long timers seem to inhabit this campground ... think its because it's cheaper than getting a house and paying NJ's insane taxes. I'm sure some will like it. Especially if you just spent the last 20 years of your life in a penal institution.
Huge ditch at entrance apparently there to "slow people down". When an RV bottoms out, not a good thing. Very tight spaces with little direction from staff. Pond full of algae - should be aerated. Mosquito breeding ground. Do NOT recommend. Definitely not worth the money and then they charged extra after putting me on the phone for kids. Definitely not kid-friendly with the foul, angry language of the owner when he had a problem with someone using two sewer drains. Really wish my kids had not heard how he handled the situation with such language.
