Great place to stay overnight or longer
By user-5808312... on 2017-10-23.
First 24 hours are free. FREE! Then $20 per night which is still a great deal. 9 sites with power, water and sewer. Very clean and well taken care of. Saw the Jolly Green Giant, and a few Minnesota mosquitoes. Small Walmart (not a Super Center) Dairy Queen and fuel nearby.

Great Place to Stay!! Better than Wal-Mart across the road!!

Stayed 2016-09-03 to 2016-09-04
It was a little difficult to find with the RV Parky map link, bur once you find the circle with the Wal-Mart, the fairgrounds are across the road behind the Jolly Green Giant statue. Free first night full 50-amp, water and sewer!! Still a steal at $20.00 per night there after!! Quiet except for an occasional distant train passing.

Occasional passing train but you barely notice first nite free and free is always good looks like new gravel in the back in sites and there are fire pits . Don't forget to get a picture of the jolly green giant out front we will stop again if we are ever in the area again

Fantastic sites for free
By user-4596359... on 2017-10-23.
The sites are all upgraded, utilities placed thoughtfully, trees along the back perimeter. We had no mosquitoes. There was an amateur local baseball team playing right there at the fairgrounds. The Green Giant statue is fun to see. Can't beat the price for first night -- free!
We would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Absolutely idyllic!
By user-5778675... on 2017-10-23.
Campground is located behind the fairground buildings. 9 RV sites, all with recently upgraded W,S,E. Run by the city of Blue Earth - no reservations taken - first come first served. No longer "free" for the 1st night. $20/night. 5 night max. Payment made on the honor system via a lockbox. (Cash and checks only). WONDERFUL biking/walking trails surround the campground. River runs behind it. Fairground has "historical" town (if opened). We stayed only 1 night - passing through on I-90. Would most definitely return here!

what a find

First night free. $20 thereafter. Updated electric, water, shade picnic tables, neat little historic location at the County Fairgrounds. Negative is many many many mosquitoes. If it's full, the nearby Walmart is a good choice.

Perfect for the price
By user-6410755... on 2017-10-23.
9 sites all 20, 30, and 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Rest rooms with shower about 2 minute walk away. First night free and $20 for subsequent nights. Did not experience any bugs at all. Across the street from Walmart and next to giant Jolly Green Giant statue.

An oasis when I needed one!
By user-5814480... on 2018-07-06.
Found this by accident while getting gas down the road. Amazed to find this little gem with open spots on memorial day wknd (passing thru on way to Glacier NP), when *every* public / private park was full. 100F outside, and a beautiful site w/ what looks like brand new 20/30/50A pedestal. NO potable water, but there's a dump station w/ rinse. Summer only. Well worth the $20.
