Nice park, however it felt more commercialized than a normal state park. The sites were pretty small (we were in C) and it was tough to get the camper backed into. The facilities are very nice, with clean restrooms and shower areas. The camp store is a lot nicer than I have experienced in other state parks and they have many things to do. The mosquito's and bugs in general were pretty bad, but it has been pretty wet lately with pools if standing water throughout the camp.

Nice place to camp close to lake

East Harbor is an excellent place to camp close to Lake Erie and Cedar Point. The price is affordable and the campground is clean. There is a beach and places to ride bicycles. Only problem we had where the Mayflies. But that is typical of anywhere near the lake. We will have to stop in again.

This park was very nice. More like a resort. Great bike trails and hiking. Kinda pricey . Travelling in our 40 foot Tiffen ??

Huge park, few full hook ups. Make your reservations early. Lots of trees, lots of trails, lots of room for kids to play.

Great State Park near Lake Erie

This is one of the premier State park campgrounds in Ohio! We were in B loop 1 through 13 and these sites were very unlevel but most of the other loops are reasonably level. plenty of shade in this loop and there was plenty of room between sites. as one reviewer has stated there are few full hook up sites but, there is places to fill your fresh water tanks. There are also several dump stations scattered around the campground. We will be back

This is a very nice State Park The area we were in (C) had little shade and electric only. All sites were level. Great place to ride a bike. Very large campground.

Our family really enjoyed this Campground. We stayed 2 nights. There are so many bike trails down by the lake. Absolutely beautiful, my teenagers were impressed which speaks volumes!! We actually changed our return trip so we can stay again on way home!
Bathrooms were clean. We had an electric site in B loop, pretty level. We were worried didnt have full hook up but was a big deal, we filled water prior and dumped on way out. Cost was very reasonable, $76 includes. Tax for 2 nights.
