They moved us to a much nicer spot. I enjoyed sitting outside. Sites are still quite close. They kept telling us they were full but no one ever arrived. Plenty of open spots. It was a pain to move.

Campground was Ok.
Cable TV was terrible - all snow just barely able to view. Like being in the '50s 100 miles from the transmitter.
Damaged 5r trying to negotiate narrow gravel campground roads, sharp turns and trees in turns. Had to use 4X4 drive to get around turns and up hills.
If you have a big rig, find somewhere else or risk damage.

Good access from freeway for large rigs

Easy access to campground from freeway. Staff are all friendly and very accommodating. In fact, at our request we were moved to a new site after the office parked another rig not more than 5 ft next to us (after all slides were out). The park was not full so there was no need to park rigs one on top of each other.
The laundry, office and grounds were clean. WiFi however, is not as good as dial-up so be prepared. The cable for the tv didn't work well at our first location but was great at second location in park.
There's a trail to the lake which is a nice walk but be prepared for the trash you'll find along the way. Pride of one's state is not a strong point.
Considering all things, we would definitely stay here again. Did I mention how great the staff are???

Nice clean park and very friendly owners, but: on our way to fl. Jan,2016 My wife broke her arm. Needing an operation I decided to check in to this koa expecting to stay 4-5 days. I booked 4 days, the hospital expidated her operation, released her with the OK to travel, we left to avoid an ice storm only useing 2 of the 4 days. I was told KOA does not give refunds, I know this not to be true.

I don't know where to start... The good point, friendly staff, now for the rest. The sites are gravel and in trees, they are not level, had to literally dig a hole to get it close enough to use blocks and on our site the sewer was up hill of the camper making it a joy to dump. The power box had taken a few hits, I would guess from one of the many dead limbs overhead and the person that showed us to our site was not even sure of where all the connections were located.
Poison ivy carpeted the ground making it impossible to find any place to walk the dog unless you wanted to hike all the way back to the entrance road to their fenced dog play area and I do mean hike. The only way to prevent yourself from getting covered with poison ivy was to stay on the rock, it was just so thick everywhere you looked.
Laundry and office area were clean and the store had hardly anything to offer, better to run to Walmart a few miles up the road. Quiet time was merely a suggestion in the part of the campground we were in and no security lighting. Wifi, they claim they had it, we never could find it even sitting at the office but the cable tv did work OK.
KOA needs to stop just taking money for the use of there name and do some actual inspections of campgrounds to see if they meet a minimum standard, any standard. We are finding this more and more that KOA does not mean quality in campsites. This is a campground could be good but that it needs serious, serious work.

Parking is so close that I felt I had to keep my windows closed all the time. I will ask for a betterspot tomorrow and will update. It is definitely not a place I would stay for any length of time. Cable all snow. So far WiFi works. Overall I am disappointed because we left another site early hoping this would be better.

Nice place to stay. Site was level. Only filled jug of water, as was still dropping below freezing at night. Bathroom was clean.

Okay overnight camping

This KOA is okay, tight spots, lots of trees, not much grass close for our fur babies. But what I want to know about here and another campground we stayed at - what the heck is it with their WiFi? It’s horrible, won’t stay connected for me and my husband can’t even log into it.

Clean and quiet

Traveling in a 40QTH Phaeton class A. Got a nice pull through site #35 for one night. Not real busy this time of year. Lots of trees (and leaves this time of year). Large play area for the dogs out in front. If you're a VIP KOA member, you had a choice of a bundle of firewood or a 10# bag of ice. We have stayed here before when traveling between Florida and Indiana.

I stayed two nights in the freezing weather with nothing but rain on my way back south. Nice folks very helpful. I'd stay again.
