The campground is the RV parking lot. Tons of room and no reservations needed. A sure thing when all the other campgrounds are full. Wireless internet access in the visitor center, plus a restaurant. Nice hike to the toe of the glacier across the highway (dogs allowed). Nice open area and pond next to campground for exercising dogs. Cool, high elevation campground in the hot summer.

There are not many choices of where to stay in a large RV (over 25 ft) along the area between Banff and Jasper. This is one of the few and it is an RV parking lot generally on a slant. Level is hard to find. We were there for 2 days and one night. Cars took over a lot of the parking lot on the first day, and cleared out at night. RV's took it back the next day and night. No services. This area is one of the most beautiful in the world so when you go this is a good place to park or stay for a night or two. $15
