| Haven't stayed but had dealings with
I had reserved 6 days, but it should have been 5. I didn't realize it until weeks later. Cavendish KOA happily fixed my mistake. My trip from Michigan had to be cancelled because of a dire family emergency. They were more than understanding and graciously cancelled my reservations even though it was inside their 48 hr. window.. More importantly, out of 4 campgrounds I had to cancel from, they were the only ones to express any sympathy or concern over my emergency. I cannot put a price on compassion! When I reschedule my trip, I will definitely stay at this KOA!
| Another Expensive KOA
We are here a week. We are traveling in a group. The sites ARE NOT LEVEL. All three of us had difficult leveling. I had to elevate the rear tires of the motorhome 4 inches just to try and level the coach. I can only get one TV channel. NO CABLE. The WiFI is HORRIBLE. There are a lot of screaming children running around - I blame the parents for that one. The sites are tight. My neighbors sewer is right next to our picnic table. KOA s need to start spending some of their money on improving WiFi connectivity. I was forewarned at my last stay that the WiFi sucked. I am just about done with KOA s. This is going to be a LONG WEEK :-(
| Typical Overpriced KOA
Stayed for a week. Pull through sites were not very level and you had to drive over grass when leaving. Thank goodness it didn t rain during the last few days of our visit. I could see getting stuck on the way out. Resort area, so place was packed with kids. They seem to cater to families which is expected in this area. I just wish parents would keep a better eye on some of their children. Too many dashing out in front of vehicles. WiFi was horrible. Virtually nonexistent. They claim they are improving it but I will believe it when I see it.
