Good customer service and a well stocked store. Putt putt golf range is busted in many sections. Pool was comfy but is salt water. Site hookups were easily accessible.

I should have paid more attention to the list of amenities. This is a nice but very small cg. I was looking for an overnight with full hook-ups, close to the Interstate. This would be great for me except I had to unhook the toad to get in and out. I would not recommend to anyone with a big rig.

Overnight do-able, would not recommend longer stay

This is do able for a quick overnight stop but I wouldn t recommend it for longer or monthly.
First, the positives:
* Price: 48/night (50 amp hookup) (decent)
* The campground is fairly new.
And, the reason for our 3-star review:
* We checked in late ~9pm. The staff were NOT friendly & made it seem like checking us in was a nuisance. Not exactly icing on top of the cake when you ve been driving all day.
* Then we get to our site and it was incredibly unlevel. Our RV was like a funhouse.
* WiFi does not work in the lower lot and there is no cell service.
* The layout of the park is very odd, I would not recommend showing up after dark with a big rig.
Luckily, we are a small rig and pretty advanced at maneuvering.
If you need a quick place to stop while traveling, this will do. Otherwise, I d recommend cruising on down the highway until you can find something better.

Well-maintained site, with pretty nature trail but NO SHADE and HOT in summertime. Stayed over Memorial Day weekend and place was packed w/lots of planned activities for kids. Nice sized lots for a KOA, well-stocked store and clean bathrooms/showers. Had full hookups, pull-thru site, Wi-Fi was good, Cable TV iffy.

It s a beautiful area and quiet. The staff was ver friendly. My site was not very level, had to work a bit at that. Bathrooms were okay.

Very friendly. Pull thru site. Perfect overnight spot for our rather large/loud family. 3 adults 3 kids and two dogs.....

Great campground and clean

While driving on interstate 64 we decided to stay here after seeing it on a YouTube video. Campground is very clean and easy to get to. Would stay again.

Just ok

For a one night stay this would be fine. But we were there for a few nights and wasn t impressed. The pool is nice but small. The game room had only broken/missing pieces games. The staff was just ok. The woman owner was pretty crappy to my husband. We probably won t go back. It is about 40 minutes from carter caves.
